Weighing an Atlanta care offer
A few questions worth bringing with you.
Start with your concern. Then ask about the treatment, the people and the full bill.
Copy the questions that fit your visit into your own notes. Leave space below each question to write the response. It is fine to ask for a slower explanation.
Before choosing a treatment
“Which health concern would this treatment address?”
“What makes this option a fit for me?”
“What else could we consider, including no medicine?”
“When would we decide to stop this plan or change it?”
Ask for the medicine’s full name and form. Ask the health professional to explain any term you do not know. Bring the conversation back to the change you hope to see.
Before trusting a service
“Who assesses me, and where can I check that person’s Georgia licence?”
“Which pharmacy would fill the prescription?”
“Who can answer me after I start, and how do I reach them?”
Georgia’s medical and pharmacy boards provide licence checks for their respective professions, as recorded on September 28, 2026.
Before making a payment
“What does the first charge include?”
“What is the usual ongoing cost, including medicine, tests and follow-up?”
“What happens to the charge if the treatment does not fit?”
“How does cancellation work, and what refund rules apply?”
Ask for the answers in writing. Add the plan’s coverage answer if you want to use insurance. Compare the same parts of care before deciding.
